SUTTA COLLECTION
Suttas are the discourses of the Buddha which has been preached to various audiences(monks and ordinary lay people). They are the most amazing teachings available to the world of all time. There is no need to worry whether these sermons are really the Buddha's words or not, because the Buddha himself has mentioned that his teachings will remain secure for 5000 years after his passing away without any alteration in Sri Lanka(which is why he visited Sri Lanka thrice). So the suttas given below are 100% the Buddha's words. Suttas(pronounced in Pali as Sutras) contain the valuable sermons of the Buddha which consists of :
